We offer pick-up and drop-off services from Natural Pet Foods in Westboro or in Carleton Place for a nominal fee of $20 each way at scheduled times (please inquire). Normally, we do not do any pick-up and drop-off's from the pet shop on the weekend.

       Possible Times for Drop-off and Pick-up at Cat's Paradise:

Please keep in mind that you should arrive with your cat no later then 30 minutes before our closing time in order to fill in the required paperwork and settle the cat in.

Please call or email to arrange a time for a visit or check-in/drop-off as we prefer to space out the cats being dropped off and allow the cats to get settled in to the new environment.

***We will be limiting our numbers of cats after Labour Day in September (September 7th, 2009) until December 1, 2009 except for select repeat clients only- please call us to inquire about this timeframe****

For Christmas 2009, we will be limiting our spaces so we will only be accepting repeat clients for boarding at Christmas time.

Our holiday schedule is as follows:

• Closed after 11:00 on December 24th (Christmas Eve)
• Closed December 25th (Christmas Day)
• Closed after 11:00 on December 26th (Boxing Day)
• Closed after 11:00 on December 31 (New Year's Eve)
• Closed New Years Day

The minimum number of nights for Christmas is 7. You can pick up your cat(s) earlier but you will still be charged for 7 nights stay. The minimum number of nights on a long weekend is 5. You can pick up your cat(s) earlier but you will still be charged for a 5 night stay.

Please note, we are open 7 days a week for your convenience ONLY during our posted hours. We will not release your pet to you during holidays when we are closed, or outside our posted hours.

Vaccinations:

A proof of vaccination is required when your pets are checked in. This is to ensure your pet will enjoy a disease-free environment. For cats this includes Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, Panleukopenia  (3-in-1)and Rabies. Feline Leukemia vaccination is recommended, and the cat's owner assumes all risk to his cat(s) and other animals under the contractor's care, if the cat(s) are not vaccinated for feline leukemia.

Please note, we do accept titer tests in lieu of vaccinations as long as your cat has had at least one prior vaccination in their lifetime.

Long-Term Price Reductions:

Please note: If your cat will be enjoying a stay of one month or more there is a reduction of $1 per day for the duration of their stay. For extended periods there may be further reductions. Please phone or email for additional details.

Payment is due at time of drop-off for the duration of your booking.

***Please note, that new prices come into effect November 1st, 2008. There will be an increase in boarding by $1/day.

Boarding for cats that are on the BARF or raw diet.

Medications

$2.50 (plus GST). If your cat is on oral medication or drops we charge a nominal fee of $2.50/day.  Please let us know in advance of any medical requirements your cat might have. If your cat required medication twice a day it is $5/day.

**Please note, we are no longer taking diabetic cats.

Transportation

Transportation from Natural Pet Foods in Westboro or Carleton Place is offered for $20 each way.  The Westboro store is located at 339 Churchill Avenue North, close to Scott Street and the Carleton Place store is located at 61 Bridge Street. Please call to get details on times and dates. Please note, we do not do weekend pick-up and drop-off's from the shop. *Please call us to confirm a date and time.

In the event that your cat requires veterinary attention we will either take them to the closest veterinary clinic or where possible take them to their regular veterinarian. We have four excellent veterinary clinics within a ten minute drive from the spa. We charge a nominal fee of $20 to drive your cat to one of the veterinary clinics near us. If the cat has to go to another vet further away the same costs as pick-up from home would apply (please see costs below). Any veterinary costs would be added to your bill.

Transportation from home:

Please note, due to rising fuel costs our transportation fees have increased for 2008. Usually we try to schedule these pick-ups between 1-3.

Grooming Services.

Waterless bath $10 + GST.

Billing

Payment is due at the time of check-in for the duration of the booking. You may check your cat out early but you are still responsible for payment for the days you booked. Payment can be made by visa, interact, mastercard or cash if the cat is being dropped off at the spa. Otherwise, payment may be made by cash or cheque.  Clients are responsible for payment for the duration of their booking. We cannot always extend a stay (for example at Christmas) so please check with us if you wish to extend a stay. There are no returns on deposits or bookings.

A $20 deposit must be made to secure a reservation and is non-refundable. During the Christmas season a $50 non-refundable deposit is required.

Billing is based on how many nights your cat stays at the spa. The check-out time is by 11:00. If your cat is picked up in the evening you are billed for that day.

In the unlikely event your cat requires veterinary attention, the veterinary bill will be added to your bill on pick-up.

If your cat is found to have fleas it will be treated with Advantage or Revolution and the cost will be added to your bill on pick-up.
